3 Shift (6-2,2-10, 10-6)

Up to £42,000

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join an innovative manufacturer of non-woven and foam abrasive products as well as a distributer in the UK of coated abrasives. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will be a key memberin ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and theirskill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

The Role
- Maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Factory electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Fault diagnostics and rectification.
- Breakdown Response.
- Achieve set targets, both individual and team.
- Complete all the necessary documentation for the Engineering department.
- Keen eye for detail and strong experience in preventative maintenance.
- Preform all activities in accordance with Food, Health & Safety regulations.
- Ensure an effective handover between shifts.
- To observe, recognise and report component defects and impending failures.

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electrical or Mechanical Qualifications,
- Process plant and filler / packaging machinery experience desirable as well as experience in factory environment.
