Would you like to work in a Further Education College? We are seeking a full time, permanent Functional Skills Tutor.

Reed - Further Education are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to be responsible for the successful delivery of Maths and English accredited qualifications that form part of the Further Education programme.

**What’s the day-to-day responsibilities of a Functional Skills Tutor?**
- Work with learners on apprenticeship or pre-apprenticeship programmes, helping them to gain their functional skills in Maths, English and ICT. You will be required to design, develop and deliver highly inspirational teaching and training resources and willbe expected to identify individual starting points and give developmental feedback.
- You will monitor caseload performance and action concerns through appropriate channels including regular attendance at progress boards. You will liaise with tutors, employers and business services team to ensure that the learner’s experience is of exceptionalquality.

**What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?**
- **You will have experience of delivering Functional Skills on apprenticeship programmes and have experience of monitoring and tracking the progress and achievement of learners.**:

- You will hold a literacy and numeracy qualification at level 2 or above and should be familiar with relevant training standards and assessment requirements.
