**What you need to know about the role**

The SRSM Rollshop has a range of CNC Machines that include 3 Lathes, a Vertical rolls machine and a Branding machine.

As a team member reporting to a Team Leader you will be expected to machine both new rolls and re-machine existing rolls to the design profiles and to within British Steel quality assurance standard tolerances. You will work to achieve rollshop targets, customer service and health and safety objectives.

**What we need to know about you**
You must be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant machining trade or have served a recognised apprenticeship*.

Ideally, you will have workshop machining experience within a commercial or heavy engineering environment and essential to the role is the ability to adapt to new equipment across a range of control systems. You must be flexible, have a desire to learn and develop.
