Richardson Hill Limited are a long standing Health & Safety Consultancy based in London. We are currently looking to expand, we are offering a career opportunity for reliable and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. Providing services across London and the home counties in the UK.

MUST BE UK BASED.

**Skills and Qualifications required**:

- As a minimum must hold a NEBOSH general certificate and / or NEBOSH construction certificate
- Consultancy experience ( Prefered )
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork and presentation skills
- Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Full, clean driving license
- Flexibility in line with business requirements
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- You will be required to carry out site safety inspections.
- Produce Site Safety Audit reports.
- Accident and Incident investigations.
- Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
- Fire Risk Assessments.
- Ensuring our clients are complient with statutory Health & Safety requirements.
- Providing training based on clients requirements.
- To maintain the business health and safety management system.
- To provide Senior Management with advice to ensure that the business continues to be compliant with the requirements.
- To act as the management representative when dealing with external surveillance / auditing bodies in relation to all of the standards.
- To act as the competent Health and Safety advisor and to ensure that legal compliance is maintained.
- Liaise with external bodies, including regulatory bodies such as HSE in matters that have a bearing on the operational function of the business.
- To collate information on a monthly basis regarding accidents, incidents, production output and credits, and to present them to the Senior Management team and Divisional Managers as required.
- Develop and maintain the Health and Safety plans for the sites to ensure continual improvement.

**You will work closely with the site team with your key areas of responsibility being**:

- Advise managers and supervisors at project sites, depots and offices of statutory health and safety requirements.
- Provide assistance in the preparation of risk assessments and in the development of project management plans.
- Provide support with respect to the principal contractor’s duties under CDM.
- Regularly inspect project work locations and activities.
- Identify hazards and risks.
- Verify that temporary works procedures are implemented safely.
- Submit inspection reports to the Agent with copies to the relevant business unit manager and health and safety manager.
- Monitor subcontractors during site visits to ensure that safe systems of work are being followed.
