The Role

As the Supported Internship Instructor / Offsite Change Mentor, you will take on a dual role co-ordinating the delivery of a transition to work programme for young adults with learning difficulties and planning and delivering Maths and English Functional Skills lessons.

Within the Offsite Change Mentor part of the role, you will raise student standards and progress through enhanced learning and teaching practices, planning the work to ensure learners can meet their potential.

You will provide 1:1 support and sessions with students, taking language barriers, underachievement and SEN into account, and marking work, providing feedback and assessing attainment in line with requirements. This element of the role will typically involve 40% of your time (roughly two days per week).

**Your role will also involve**:

- Developing high quality teaching materials and schemes to keep students engaged
- Picking-up and dropping-off students where required
