Laundry Assistant

A position has arisen for somebody with an eye for detail to work in a busy but friendly Laundry/Drycleaners.

16 - 20 Hours per week.

Duties to include:
To operate the Washers / Dryers / Dry Cleaning Machines / various finishing machines along with pressing and hand finishing garments.

Will be required to use our computer system to book in and track orders.

Follow care labels of garments.

Maintaining a clean working area adhering to health and safety.

Keep machines in a clean and operational state.

Answer the telephone and serve customers face to face, therefore have good customer service skills.

Must be a team player and be willing to learn and understand all roles throughout the business.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided but ideally we require somebody who can and enjoys ironing.

This position is in a fast faced environment therefore organisational skills is a key.

The working week is 16 - 20 hours over four days Monday to Friday must be available for a possible start of 9am and a possible finish of 3pm.

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
