**BASIC SALARY**: £38,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi skilled Engineer, Service Engineer - engineer consumables

Working as part of the maintenance team in a busy têxtiles manufacturing business, as a Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked with a variety of vitally important maintenance and servicing requirements, to ensure that the machinery and ancillary equipmentruns effectively and constantly. With both scheduled and nonscheduled work, as well as breakdowns-no two days will be the same.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi skilled Engineer, Service Engineer - engineer consumables

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be required to perform a variety of tasks on any given day, these may include:

- Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work of machinery and ancillary equipment. Including loom machines, weaving machines, heaters etc.
- Inspection of mechanical plant equipment.
- Install and test electrical installation to currents to current IEE wiring regulations.
- Carry out electrical and mechanical installation, general repairs and servicing of machinery to specification.
- Investigate plant failures and breakdowns and carry out repairs quickly and effectively.
- Test emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi skilled Engineer, Service Engineer - engineer consumables
- You MUST be a competent electrically biased multi-skilled engineer.
- You will be flexible and adaptable to tasks.
- Eager to learn new skills and procedures with on-the-job training.
- Analytical in your approach and able to solve problems as they arise.
