Who are they?

As Director of Sales you will lead the sales requirement for the hotel to deliver both growth on the existing account portfolio alongside delivering sales actions to achieve the monthly sales budget and new business and lead pro-active sales activity for the division, working with entertainment, groups and corporate clients to drive transient and MICE business.

What will you get upto?

As DOS you will create a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Proactively identify and secure new business
Follow up on all new prospective clients with one-to-one meetings
Attend exhibitions and networking events and be an ambassador for the guest journey
Establish and develop strong relationships with key clients as well as agent.
You will create in collaboration with the General Manager and take full ownership of hotel sales and marketing strategie with support of the VP of sales.
Identify existing and new target market segments whilst also proactively representing the hotel at industry events and local networking opportunities to raise the hotel profile and build a local new business referral network.
Work closely with the the commercial director and revenue team to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotel.
Utilising Market Intelligence reports to ensure comprehensive competitor knowledge within local territory maintained, targeting sales actions accordingly to grow market share for the Hotel.
