Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, and working closely with healthcare professionals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with meal planning and preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and contribute to the development of individualized care plans

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
