Production Operative_

Opportunity to join a well-respected, innovative, modern-thinking and eco-responsible manufacturer of cleaning & laundry products in Finedon, Northants.

Good understanding of health & safety is crucial along with enthusiasm, positivity and a genuine willingness to learn.

**Key Attributes**
- Experience in the detergent manufacturing industry, ideally in batch manufacturing of a range of products.
- Self-motivated and positive with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
- Physical fitness - considerable manual handling required.
- Ability to multitask.
- Problem solving skills.
- Willingness to present ideas for continuous improvement.
- Technical aptitude for understanding process.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety, including knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Willingness to maintain equipment and a commitment to a clean, tidy work area.
- Fork lift license essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Follow batch cards & detailed procedures in production of products.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is of utmost importance.
- Thoroughly document all chemicals used in production.
- Inspect equipment & tools to ensure they are safe and ready to use.
- Ensure best practices to protect against contamination and ensure efficiency.
- Work closely with other manufacturing personnel to complete products.
- Report any discrepancies or inaccuracies to Chief Chemist/Production Manager.
- Properly label & handle all products.
- Clean equipment, tools & work area to ensure proper maintenance.
- It is the responsibility of the Manufacturing Operative to maintain a safe tidy work environment.
- Ensure that products are available in accordance with production plan.
- Perform other functions as outlined by Production Manager

**Job Type**

Full-time 8-5

Training will be provided.

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
