Optical Assistant

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist patients in selecting eyewear
- Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Conduct preliminary tests on patients' vision
- Maintain inventory of frames and contact lenses
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and processing orders

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in an optical setting is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of anatomy and eye care is beneficial but not essential
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Pay: £11.64 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 38.5 per week
