**Job Title**:Paediatric Care Assistant (DAYS & NIGHTS)

**Job Location: Worthing & vicinity**

**Type of job: Choice of Day or Night shift 07:30-17:30/21:30-06:30 ongoing**

**Salary: PAYE **£12.00-£18.00 p/h with Accrued paid holiday

First Option Healthcare Rapid Response Services are currently recruiting for a compassionate & proactive **Paediatric Care Assistant **to join a 1:1 care package supporting a lovely 17 year old girl living at her family home assisted by our care team

**Essential skills and requirements**:

- Suctioning
- Tracheostomy
- Nebulisers
- Cough Assist
- PEG
- NG Tube feeding,
- Seizure Management
- NMC registration
- Valid driving license

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures
- Supporting clients outside of the home where required i.e., medical appointments
- Caring for patients within their own home and building a rapport with family members
- Ensure care plans and other information are followed and any changes are escalated to clinical leads efficiently and safely.
