**Your role and responsibilities**

In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to engage and communicate with young people of all ages, building meaningful connections and providing invaluable support. Using Suffolk's Signs of Safety principles, you'll assess, plan, and review cases with care and expertise, You'll maintain accurate records and data and provide reports through our electronic systems.

Collaboration is key, and you'll actively build relationships with multi-agency partners, identifying risks and safeguarding concerns promptly and escalating where appropriate. Your role will involve providing information and guidance, connecting families to relevant universal and specialist services in the local area and beyond. When statutory intervention is required, you'll work closely with Social Workers, Lead Professionals, and Health Colleagues, supporting families through complex situations.

Building relationships and networks with other professional groups and services in the locality is an integral part of this role. You'll regularly engage with young people from diverse backgrounds across Forest Heath, empowering them to share their experiences and ensuring their voices are heard.

Additionally, you'll play a vital role in facilitating Family Time, supporting children in maintaining safe connections with significant adults in their lives through supervision.

**You will need**
- a suitable practitioner-level qualification at Level 3 or equivalent experience in a relevant area of work
- evidence of continuing professional development
- willingness to learn new skills and share existing knowledge and learning
- a passion to support and advocate for children and families.
- a fresh approach to working with all people regardless of their lived experience and provide an honest, non-judgemental approach
- a creative, caring, and friendly approach.

We cover the Forest Heath area which is over three towns including Newmarket, Mildenhall and Brandon (as well as the villages in between).
