**A bit about us**:
The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children’s Air Ambulance which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Our objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with our work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies. We are at the forefront of innovative clinical care and we challenge boundaries. None of this can be achieved without a hugely dedicated team of colleagues, volunteers and the general public.

**The Opportunity**:
The role of Community Fundraising Executive will be working closely with the National Community Fundraising Manager delivering the short and mid-term strategic plans and priorities for the function. The Community Fundraising Executives are responsible for growing community awareness for our incredible charity and driving fundraising activity across the region to meet income targets by creating new opportunities and relationships to raise awareness and generate revenue for your local Air Ambulance and The Children’s Air Ambulance.

Your role will be to directly engage with the region generating new and building upon existing relationships with community groups, organisations, volunteers and supporters of our Charity. It’s important to have your ear to the ground and understand events and organisations that could benefit our Charity.

This role will cover Northamptonshire, with additional support for The Children's Air Ambulance in Bedfordshire.

The impact of a Community Fundraiser cannot be understated. You are the representative of our charity within your community.

**The person**:
As this role is predominantly managing existing support and also identifying new opportunities to grow the Air Ambulance Service in the regions, ideally you will be an experienced Fundraiser within Charity and be comfortable approaching new business opportunities for us. We can give you all the support you need to be a success with us and we would like a self-starter highly motivated fundraiser for this region. This a huge opportunity for you to establish a new national charity in a new region and promote all the fantastic things the Air Ambulance Service does

Working for The Air Ambulance Service entitles you to a great benefits package which includes the following:

- Company pension after qualifying period
- 22 days holiday a year plus all Bank Holidays and paid ‘Birthday Leave’ day each year
- Christmas and New Year closure to ensure everyone can enjoy a well-deserved rest (3 additional days that do not come out of your allowance)
- Flexible working hours between 8:00am - 6:00pm - Monday - Friday. Core working hours are 10-3. (30mins lunch)
- The Air Ambulance Service Charity Stores discounts
- Two days paid volunteering days each year to enable you to support a charitable organisation/community project of your choice
- Access to a dedicated confidential assistance hotline
- Blue Light Card membership
- Eye Care voucher
- Company sick pay upon eligibility (6 months service)

This role will require a basic DBS check
