Carryway - Workshop Supprt

The Carryway Workshop Assistant is an internal workshop operational role. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, responsible for preparing the Carryway fleet for hire and new vehicles for sale, effectively storing and charging Carryway vehicles which include electric, petrol and diesel golf buggies, utility vehicles, small 4x4’s and street legal small electric shuttle buses/vans. You will also support the service engineers and assist in keeping the workspace and grounds clean.

The place of work is Wakefield, West Yorkshire, working as part of a team and closely with the service engineers.

**The Responsibilities**
- Wash and polish vehicles
- Rotate the vehicles for charging
- Check vehicles for damage
- Assist the service engineers where required
- Maintain the workshop - cleaning and organising.
- Attain a high standard of customer service.
- Work well with other team members
- Help load and unload Carryway Vehicles where required at the direction of the Service Engineers

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wakefield, WF2 9LP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance (preferred)
