Global Merchant Services Marketing is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed. GMS Marketing is responsible for partnering with GMS markets to drive profitable growth, accelerate coverage and enhance the value of Amex acceptance to merchants and Card Members at scale. We focus on enhancing our relationships with millions of merchants of all shapes and sizes, and our geographic purview includes many commerce hubs across the globe including the U.S, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

It is also critical for GMS Marketing to collaborate effectively with Card Issuing teams and other sister organizations across the Blue Box in order to fully harness the power of the closed loop via mediums including Custom Consulting, Offers, Recommendations, Multi-Merchant Campaigns, Digital Experiences and Brand Awareness. GMS Marketing partners with organizations including Client Management, Marketing Operations, Information Management, Enterprise Digital, Global Advertising and Brand Management and Global Servicing Network.

This team sits within the Central Merchant Marketing team and manages the visits programme across 11+ markets in EMEA to drive merchant activation and welcome acceptance, as well as perception of coverage in International.

**How will you make an impact in this role?**:
Responsible for managing third party relationships and external agencies for the EMEA visits programme including reporting and performance tracking.
- Vendor management, running the day to day relationships with our external field vendor and their large team of sales agents.
- Development and deployment of innovative field marketing assets and training materials across multiple markets, working closely with external vendors/agencies and local marketing teams to drive improved programme performance.
- Ownership of field visit analysis and compilation of reporting to be sent to senior stakeholders across the European business.
- Responsible for ensuring end to end programme compliance.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Experience with managing multiple projects and stakeholders is essential.
- Positive relationship building skills and the ability to collaborate and work effectively across multiple cross-functional partners & geographies.
- Passion for marketing, digital marketing and innovation.
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while efficiently prioritising, solving problems and managing tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Desire to join a high-profile, results-oriented, and dynamic team.
- Self-starter who is meticulous and solutions driven, with strong project management skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- University degree, preferably in marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working with external partners & agencies is a plus.
- Experience of building marketing plans and implementing end-to-end projects.
- Comfortable with analysing and working with data in order to drive business results.
