**Introduction**:
**HR Head of Data & Insights**

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our lovely HR team as an HR Head of Data and Insights in a London based role. This will be on a fixed term basis for 6 months whilst the current incumbent takes a sabbatical.

The Economist Group is the leading source of analysis on international business and world affairs. We deliver our information through a range of formats, from the newspaper to conferences, business information and electronic services. What ties us together is the objectivity of our opinion, the originality of our insight and our advocacy of economic and political freedom around the world.

As an HR Head of Data and Insights, reporting into the Chief Talent Officer and part of the HR leadership team, you will lead and execute analytics work to produce and develop key HR metrics. You’ll be working closely with our HR team and business leaders and have the opportunity to become involved in exciting group wide HR initiatives and projects.

**Accountabilities**:

- Leads and executes analytic work to produce and develop key HR metrics
- Produces monthly and quarterly reports for the HR Team and business leaders
- Creates and develops Tableau dashboards providing stakeholders with the right metrics to inform key decisions and actions
- Participates in continuous improvement efforts to assist in defining additional reporting and analytic requirements
- Proactively identifies potential data issues (e.g. data quality or data privacy) and clearly communicates ideas and solutions to stakeholders
- Assists the HR Team and business leaders with interpreting the data, understanding the insights, and forming action plans, in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, diversity, engagement, and exit interviews

**Experience, skills and professional attributes**:

- Experience working directly with large HR data sets, carrying out rigorous data analysis and building models bespoke to business needs
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Tableau required
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, including senior executives
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills required
