**_Case Administrator Job Description_**

As case administrator, the primary duties include:

- **_General Insolvency Case administration_**
- Communicating with the client/director/shareholder on a regular basis to ensure that all relevant information required for the file is obtained and retained
- Drafting and preparing general correspondence relating to files under your care
- Calculate dividends
- Deal with Creditors queries
- Adjudicate creditors’ claims for submission to cases for distribution and voting purposes
- Liaise with agents, solicitors, and valuers
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual report in a timely manner
- Assisting with the preparation of closing reports when the case is complete
- Ensure case is entered onto the system for Bonding purposes
- Review bonding of case periodically
- Assisting with the processing of Redundancy Payments claims in a timely manner
- Assisting with the preparation of documentation required for Money laundering and Ethical reviews prior to appointment
- Bring to management attention any complaint or potential complaint as soon as possible
- Data input of information of cases
- Bank reconciliations

**_Responsibilities relating to IVA/CVA Cases_**
- Gaining client trust to ensure case progression
- Maintain financial database of clients monthly contributions for subsequent payments of dividends to creditors
- Assisting with the preparation of annual reports for distribution
- Assisting with the preparation of Draft Variations to Proposal
- Arrange meetings of creditors
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals for debtor approval
- Assisting with the preparation of reports for court
- Ensure the Arrangement is implemented as the Proposal and Modifications are written

**_Responsibility for Commercial Cases_**
- Assisting with the preparation of sign up papers
- Assisting with the preparation of Draft all reports to creditors ensuring they are compliant with current regulations
- Bring to the attention of the Insolvency Practitioner any undisclosed right of action or assets which come to light in the investigation
- Assisting with the sale of assets and collection of book debts
- Look to limit the exposure of the firm in all eventualities
- Assist and review all documents are submitted to companies house in a timely manner
- Assist and review all statutory adverts are placed
- Assist and chase the payments of Personal Guarantees for fees.
- Box and safeguard books and records
- Assist and in the preparation and collation of papers for the investigation of Directors conduct.

**_Responsibility of Court matters_**
- Assist in dispatching all papers as set out in templates in a timely manner
- Attempt to identify assets not disclosed
- Assist and deal with creditors inquiries
- Reply to the Official Receivers on case matters and assist in their investigation
- Bring any matter which should result in a bankruptcy restriction to the attention of the Manager
- Review Income and Expenditure to identify the possibility of contributions
- Limit the company’s exposure to litigation
- Assist in obtaining Sanction from the Secretary of State when required
- Assist or arrange attendance/representation to Court whenever necessary

**_General Office duties_**
- Filling and retrieving information and documentation
- Data Entry
- Answering the phone
- Enter new work inquiries on the company system as instructed
- Meeting and greeting clients and creditors alike, offering hospitality in a way set out by management
- Franking logging of mail at day end
- Banking when necessary
- Delivery of papers and packages when required

Employees are expected to be professional at all times retaining a fair and measured response to all parties. The role requires compassion as well as an ability to be firm to negotiate with individuals who are often in a very difficult position.

The management expects all employees to act as a team and although your primary role may be just in one area of the business when requested assistance colleagues should be forthcoming.

Roles are rotated periodically to allow individuals to develop and to bring a fresh perspective of cases. The rotation of cases and rolls will be affected by the business needs.

The management reserve the right to ask any employee to attend marketing events when considered appropriate. All staff are expected to assist in the administration of sales and marketing activities as requested. The management reserve the right to amend the job description as and when necessary, to reasonably fit with the business needs. Reasonably request of management on an ad-hoc basis can be made to fit with the business needs.

**Salary**: £21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Some experienced staff are working from home, so desks are spaced out
