Fitter - Full Time - Aberdeen, United Kingdom

If you are highly motivated, organised, and have a keen eye for detail with a background in pump engineering/heavy industry you can help us take Sulzer Service UK to the next level. Sulzer will support and encourage your development within your role to be the best you can be. You will complement the current wealth of experience, skills, and knowledge in the team, to have a real impact in the work and projects we do.

**In this role you will be accountable for**:

- Dismantle and record dimensional findings
- Liaise with Technical Quality department advise repair requirements
- Repair of components - fitting and pinning wear rings, bushes, pressure testing, dynamic balancing
- Reclamation of pump components to enable safe re-use
- Assembly of basic and complex pump types

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Relevant equipment experience and preferably time served
- NC/City & Guild Mechanical Qualification
- Or VQ Level 3 Mechanical Qualification
- Pump experience and time served working in heavy engineering industry
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and dynamic individual
