Van Driver

We require a delivery driver for the delivery of building materials to varying properties nationwide.

Due to the nature of the work it would be required for the applicant to be able to lift all type of building materials within required lifting limits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods
- Ensure all items are securely packed and properly labeled for transportation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of arrival and departure

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar role
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
