Ormiston Denes Academy is at an exciting stage of its journey, with a recent Ofsted report and results which demonstrate its continued improvement. As a result of a promotion, an opportunity has arisen to join our team and we are looking to appoint an **outstanding leader** with the experience, drive, and rigour to take student progress to the next level. We know that there is no glass ceiling for what our students can achieve, and you will share our ambition and ethos to give our students a life changing education.

You will work closely with other senior leaders to ensure that students develop a hunger to do well and the resilience to succeed, recognise that curriculum is key, that assessment is more than just data, and can work with both curriculum and pastoral leaders to ensure all have a positive impact on student achievement.

At Ormiston Denes we place high value on staff development, both in teaching and leadership. In addition to leading the raising achievement team, all assistant principals line manage and support designated curriculum areas and a year group, providing a broad leadership experience, which aids further promotion. You will develop and implement systems, plans and strategies that ensure the academy improves outcomes across all year groups. You must be able to demonstrate confidence and the ability to effectively lead in this area of expertise.
