**Grade: G6 Salary: £25,878 - £30,151**

You will be responsible for working closely with both internal services and external providers, acting on referrals from social workers, team managers and support team members in identifying fostering and residential provisions. Seeking permission to search and approval for costings when homes are identified. You will negotiate fees for existing and new Looked after Children (LAC) and identify the most appropriate care provider, undertaking essential checks on suitability and quality of care provided. As part of the Home Finding Team, you will also identify service gaps and maintain the team’s market intelligence.

For the above post we are seeking applicants with a background in children’s social care, or health who have experience of placement or brokerage roles, including understanding of development, commissioning, and procurement. You should be highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, passionate about finding homes for children and young people, be a team player but be able to work on your own initiative, and be able to use IT effectively.
