The Growth Company (GC) Employment team have an exciting new vacancy open for an Outreach Engagement Advisor. The Outreach Engagement Advisor is responsible for working with Greater Manchester residents who meet the eligibility criteria to be engaged in the In Work GM / Pioneer Programme, to broker new and manage existing relationships with external services who are engaged in the participant journey.

You will work closely with operations to ensure that the wrap-around interventions available support individual participant needs and where additional services are required, broker new relationships through effective promotion of aligned priorities and mutual benefits of integrated working.

A key element of the role will be referral generation achieved through building effective relationships with a range of stakeholders including Primary Care Community Health teams, Local Boroughs, Community Partners etc.

The GC Employment Team help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment.

Our highly skilled advisers and key workers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health, and debt.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Integrate with local community and health organisations to promote the employment programme and generate referrals.
- Brokering and managing relationships with the wider services which interact with our participants.
- Ensure our services are transparent and report into identified local strategic boards (Combined Authority/NHS).
- Identify relationship gaps against customer needs and local strategic priorities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with JCP, providing relevant management information to support their monitoring of both flow and eligibility.
- Facilitating welcome sessions for new participants, organising jobs fairs and local events to drive both referrals and job outcomes.
- Develop, maintain and update a directory of local services for participants to access.
- Proactively seek to engage services that meet the needs and barriers of our participants, with the aim of accelerating progression.

- A warm outgoing and approachable style in order to build relationships and rapport with a range of organisations and participants.

**Skills Required**:

- Must have excellent interpersonal and promotional skills.
- Great communicator with an excellent telephone manner
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work to challenging targets and key performance indicators
- The ability to work under pressure in a highly performance-driven environment
