**Company Description**
Great Bear is a leading 3rd party UK logistics business providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions for international blue chip clients. We operate in over 7 million sq. ft. of warehousing and operate a large modern commercial vehicle fleet, coupled with an extensive added value service offering.
- Assemble customer orders from order profile
- Use the radio data terminal (RDT) - access customers order using the RDT which details warehouse location and product information
- Ensure the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely onto a pallet, in line with warehouse procedures
- Stretch wrap the completed order to secure it and present it to the appropriate marshalling area
- Remove incoming loads from vehicles paying attention to best before dates, product description, quantity and quality. Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support the Goods in activity
- Load picked and marshalled pallets from the marshalling area to outward bound vehicles using WMS
- Meet required Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Ensure that all equipment is operated safely and used in line with training
- Change FLT battery when the existing one is flat
- Clean the FLT on a daily basis
- Adhere to clean as you go policy with a special focus on the company’s recycling and waste management program
- Ensure that all Personal Protective Equipment is used, worn and maintained at all times and that all breaches in Health, Safety and Welfare are reported immediately to the site management team
- Undertake further Warehouse Operative duties, as requested by supervisor/ manager
- Put away incoming loads using VNA
- Replenish stock to the pick face using VNA and as directed by WMS
- Full pallet pick using VNA

**Qualifications**
- Experience of the safe operation of a electric powered pallet truck
- Experience of the safe operation of a electric ride on powered pallet truck
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Adaptable approach to training
- Conscientious and reliable
- Experience of using a hand pallet truck
- Use of radio data terminal (RDT)
- Able to work under pressure
- Must possess a reasonable level of verbal & numerical reasoning
- Good working attitude
- Previous experience in a similar environment desirable but not essential
