We are looking for an Assistant Treasurer to support the Group Treasurer and the broader business by leading our Treasury Front Office function.
- Providing Strategic insights into the Group FX and IR exposures, recommendations, and implementing appropriating hedging programmes.
- Ownership of Inchcape Global Payment Platform
- Championing the Group's InControl Framework

The role is varied and you will be responsible for

**Leadership**
- Member of the Senior Group Treasury team with a key role in supporting the efficient operation of global treasury and management if risk

**Treasury Operations, systems and Infrastructure**
- Responsible for maintaining and refining global cash management and internal funding structures (including transfer pricing on intra-group lending)
- Review and approve daily cash management proposal from the Treasury Manager
- Responsible for overseeing issuance of performance guarantees under corporate facilities
- Responsible for overseeing maintenance, deployment and ongoing development of the Global Payment Platform (TIS) including safe listing functionality.
- Ensuring that Treasury Management Systems is maintained, utilised and deployed correctly.

**Foreign Exchange and Interest rate Risk Management**
- Oversee derivative trading activities.
- Ensure there is a robust framework in place to identify exposures and deploy strategies (as agreed with Group Treasurer) to mitigate risk.
- Ensure Group Treasury Policy is adhered to.

**Control Environment**
- Champion the Group’s InControl Framework and Treasury policy. Work with markets to ensure compliance with InControl and Treasury Policy and screen requests for

**M&A**
- Support M&A transactions as directed by Group Treasurer including Due Diligence, completion mechanics and integration activities

**Reporting**
- Overall responsibility for production of the Monthly Treasury report providing insights to Group Treasurer and CFO.
- Responsible for agenda and co-ordinating monthly treasury meetings including action tracking

**Treasury Projects**
- Lead Treasury projects as required from time to time such as establishing a robust one-time-vendor process

**Capital Structure**
- In conjunction with Group Treasurer and Group Tax ensure that appropriate internal capital structures are put in place and maintained.

**Back Office Management**
- Working with the Treasury Controller to ensure relevant bank office activity / reporting is competed

**Skills and Experience needed**
- 7+ years Treasury experience in Regional / Global function
- Relevant Accounting / Finance qualifications e.g. Bachelors / Masters degree, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Relevant Treasury beneficial e.g., AMCT, MCT
- Highly organised yet flexible with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter - full of initiative and energy
- Ability to think strategically whilst delivering operationally
- High levels of proven collaboration, cultural awareness and relationship building to enable seamless working across region
