Job description
We are looking for a dedicated, caring, well organised Room Leader to join our team. If you have the energy, passion and are a natural leader; who believes they can make a difference to a child's educational journey, we would love to hear from you.
- Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have a passion for working with children
- To be a role model to the staff team. Can showcase high quality practice with regards to individual and group work with children, dealing with staff and parent issues as they arise.
- Overall responsibility for the safety, security and well-being of all children, staff and visitors at all times.
- To lead the nursery to reach an Outstanding grading with Ofsted.
- To complete a rigorous action plan that supports the development of the nursery and all its children
- Ensure all legislation in relation to Ofsted, Safeguarding and Health and Safety are complied with and company policies and procedures adhered to.
- Keep Schemes of works fresh and up to date catering for all learner needs.
- Create effective partnerships with parents.
- Lead monthly team meetings and training, keeping staff knowledge current.
- Work along side the Director & Office Manager to ensure smooth running of the setting and all projects to enhance the journey of the children, staff and families
**Qualifications and Experience** **At least Level 3 qualification in childcare **Equivalent or higher management qualification/experience
*At least 1 year experience working in a managerial role
