Deputy Pharmacy Clinical Service Lead

The Pharmacy Department at RUH is a forward thinking, dynamic and innovative team with a strong clinical and patient focus. Following investment in our forward vision we have an exciting opportunity open to lead our ward-based clinical service and ongoing service transformation.
You will work closely with the Deputy Chief Pharmacist, Director of Pharmacy, and stakeholders to oversee delivery and improvement of Pharmacy inpatient services ensuring that patients receive the best pharmaceutical care right from the front door to discharge. You will support workstreams across primary care as well as secondary, and collaborate with partners.
If successful you will benefit from working within a rapidly-transforming department with a firm interest in quality improvement and practice-based research. In this role you will be supported to further develop your ability as a senior leader.
Support the Deputy Chief Pharmacist - Clinical Services in developing clinical pharmacy services provision in a manner that reflects Trust, local and National Health Service strategy and priorities.
To be a lead point of contact for clinical delivery of Pharmacy ward based service
Lead, manage and develop the Directorate Lead pharmacists to ensure that patients receive safe, high quality and clinically effective pharmaceutical care
Contribute to the Pharmacy Senior Leadership Team agenda, to help develop a strategic vision and delivery plan for the Pharmacy Department.
Take delegated responsibility of the Deputy Chief Pharmacist - Clinical Services in their absence.
