Finance Business Partner

**Finance Business Partner / Senior Management Accountant (contract - 12 months) | Bo’ness Falkirk | £40,000 + suite of benefits**

**The Opportunity**

Interim contract (12 months - fixed term)

You’ll be joining a profitable, expanding and market-leading FMCG Group as a pivotal finance contact within their thriving subsidiary locally.

This is a fixed term contract (12 months).

It’s a varied balance of management accounting and finance business partnering.

You’ll play an integral role in delivering insightful management accounts, costings, variance summaries and KPI reports for the site. Your MI and commentary is vital in underpinning key operational decision making across the fast-paced and modern production environment.

This is a setting where you can really make a difference. There is a genuine interest in the numbers and your input and guidance is hugely welcomed.

It’s an innovative and ambitious group where change is the norm and there are constant streams of project work to be involved in alongside the routine BAU accounting and reporting.

It’s a diverse product range and impressive range of high profile customers. There is a real thirst for real time financial information -P&Ls are reviewed daily and weekly and so it would suit someone who really enjoys feeling part of something. You can challenge the numbers, suggest improvement, bring new ideas to the table.

While the initial contract is for 12 months the group always have the search light on for talented new employees so there is opportunity for project extension or potential permanent positions within the PLC.

You will:

- Be studying toward CIMA / ACCA (or have qualified).
- Ideally you will have previous experience and understanding of a business facing management accounting / partnering role in a manufacturing setting (FMCG would be perfect)
- You’ll be someone who loves being part of a team and who enjoys presenting / discussing financial info with a non finance audience.
- You’ll enjoy getting out into the site to understand the numbers and build relationships.
- You also need great Excel skills and ability to slice and dice data to produce meaningful MI.

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
