'**Team Leader - Bury AREA (36 hrs a week over 12 hour shift pattern)**

Total Case Management Limited are a Brain Injury and complex care Case Management Company. We are recruiting on behalf of our client and are looking for a support worker to join an existing team to work with a 37-year-old gentleman with a spinal injury in the Bury area.

Team leader will be responsible for organising staff timesheets, rotas, annual leave requests, sickness records and all relevant client paperwork. Record keeping of own personal training etc and client records and supporting staff with correct completion of documents. The Team Leader will also be responsible for logging client appointments and ensuring tasks are delegated appropriately and completed.

The Team Leader will ensure that care plans, support plans and risk assessments are up to date under the guidance of the case manager. Monitor and logging staff work and behaviours and reporting if necessary, ensuring the team are following guidelines and procedures throughout the shift. The Team Leader will deal with complaints and problems directly and escalate to Case Manager as needed. Any abuse or gross misconduct MUST be reported.

The role includes assisting with all personal care which will include the use of a hoist, exercise and completing prescribed therapy, enabling independent living skills, assisting client with routine all within his home. Purchase supplies as necessary therefore need to be trustworthy with client money, upkeep of the client’s property and its cleanliness is essential, and jobs should be delegated accordingly.

The post is a permanent contract, and the working hours will be full time working on a Rolling Rota to include weekdays, weekends and waking nights.

The Rate of pay will be £15 per hour basic, with increases at night and over weekend working. All necessary training and support will be provided as specialist training is required. You must be a driver as will be required to use the client’s vehicle.

You must have worked previously with clients with spinal injuries (at least 12 months) and have worked within complex care for at least 2 years. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills as communication is key as a Team Leader to run a team effectively and ensure all relevant information is shared with the Case Manager.

**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
