Advise upon and develop the resource and competence of staff required to achieve the objectives & KPI’s.

To provide expert guidance and advice to the Senior Management team on-site.

Fully implement the Global and Group Policies as directed by the Group HSE Manager. Add value to the site arrangements for Health Safety and Environmental matters. Develop the Health, Safety and Environment culture and administration system requirements of the business.

To provide information and report on Health Safety and Environmental performance for both sites and at Group level/Global level.

To achieve KPIs and quality levels set by the Group H&S Manager.
- To develop and mentor HSE Coordinators at both sites.
- To provide guidance and advice to the Site Management team on the Policy and arrangements for Health Safety and Environmental matters.
- To provide information and report on Health Safety and Environmental performance at site level.
- Provide guidance to Technical processes regarding HSE Compliance.
- Ensure that PUWER compliance is planned and implemented across both sites.
- Manage internal and external Audits in line with ISO or OHSAS requirements 45001, 14001, 9001
- Facilitate and advise upon regulatory inspections and visits.
- Management of the site’s Emergency systems
- Control and Management of the site’s IPPC permit
- Ensure that Inspection systems are relevant and completed
- Monitoring and management of Insurance risk reports
- Provide Health and Safety input into Capital Expenditure projects
- Liaise with Occupational Health to ensure that risk areas are identified and covered by pre
- start and ongoing surveillance.
- To fully support and deliver to all levels of our business effective communications, both written and verbal.
- Ensure compliance with our Site Behavioural Charter
- Ensure that the requirements stated in our Health and Safety Policy are communicated and implemented fully within your areas of control.
- Development and production of Safe Systems of Work.
- Help drive and maintain the continual improvement of employee health, safety and welfare as well as environmental management through communication, promotion and development.
- Assist Management with responsibility for Safety matters in the safety administration of their responsibilities.
- To provide the necessary support for the Division, for liaison with clients, authorities, subcontractors and other relevant third parties on Safety issues.
- To provide support in investigations of incidents/accidents and other breaches compliance.
- To maintain, monitor and publish safety statistics for the Division.
- Delivering appropriate internal health, safety and environmental training.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- NEBOSH Diploma / NEBOSH General
- Engineering or Technical Systems qualifications / background preferred
- Environmental qualification and experience essential (IEMA) or similar.
- Experience in the management of health, safety and environmental systems.
- Experienced in preparing and delivering training and presentations to employees at all levels of the business.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
