We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and well-organised individual, with significant post registration experience to the position of Education Lead: Undergraduate Medical Education, at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape Undergraduate Medical Education provision across BTHFT, working as part of a dynamic and friendly team. The post holder will lead the service to ensure quality provision of placements for all medical and physician associate students.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a proactive and comprehensive service that meets the ever changing demands of the NHS. The post holder will be expected to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain excellence in the delivery of the Undergraduate curriculum.

The post holder will provide line management responsibility to a team of educators within the Professional Education group, whilst working collaboratively with the wider department to achieve the Trust’s 5 year Education Plan.

You will hold a current professional registration, and be committed to maintaining competence through clinical working. You will have experience in; delivering classroom and bedside teaching, the assessment of clinical skills, excellent communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and the motivation for effective and supportive team leadership. We also require a person who can work within a flexible environment and meet the demands of a busy service.
