Igloo has some exciting opportunities for experienced Class 1 drivers to train and up skill to become car transporters in Sheerness.

Once fully trained in loading and unloading vehicles and securing the vehicles on your trailers, you will be required to collect and deliver vehicles to dealerships, preparation centres and depots around the UK.

**The Role**:
First and foremost, you will be trained in all aspects of the role, ensuring you are fully aware of how to load, unload and secure vehicles on the trailer. Once fully trained up the role will include the below duties:

- Completing daily checks of the vehicle before setting off on your run.
- Driving a class 1, 11+ Car transporter.
- Loading, unloading, and securing vehicles on the trailer.
- Delivering and collecting a range of vehicles to and from customers, this will include, dealerships, preparation centres, fleet sites, We Buy Any Car sites, auction sites and small businesses.
- Ensuring every car is delivered to high standards set every time.
- Maintain the high standards of the vehicle and driving hours compliance.
- Full training will be given, providing you have held a Class 1 licence for a minimum of 2 years.

**What kind of person we are looking for?**:

- It is essential that you have held a CE category on your driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.
- No more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Must have at least 6 months driving experience within the past 5 years.
- Be confident to drive vehicles onto a trailer at height.
- You must be able to demonstrate your knowledge about transport legislation and tachographs.
- Great communication skills and a passion for meeting the highest standards set.
- Hold a valid CPC, driver qualification card and tachograph card.
- You must always work efficiently but to a high standard to meet customer expectations.
- Be keen to learn new skills and ways of working.
