**About The Role**:
EKC Group are seeking a Head of STEAM (with responsibility for 14-16 Junior College) in Sheppey. This is a new area of provision for the Group and this role will be instrumental in influencing and establishing the Junior College on Sheppey, as well as growing the future team. As a Head of Junior College, you will be responsible for managing the curriculum provision and promoting high standards in a positive and supportive culture that aspires to be outstanding.

In the role of Head of Junior College you will be responsible for the quality of programme provision, will actively encourage excellence in teaching and to effectively manage a delegated budget.

**About You**:
Our ambition is to find an experienced yet innovative and proactive individual to join our management team to take forward and shape the brand-new Sheppey Junior College. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development and growth of the new Junior College provision and team, ensuring that curriculum delivery is of the highest quality whilst ensuring the required support is in place to help all learners thrive and achieve in our dynamic teaching and learning environment.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree level qualification and a recognised teaching qualification (DET/PGCE/CertEd). With demonstrable teaching practice at good or outstanding level. You will also have experience of curriculum planning and development within secondary education and a proven ability to manage and lead an experienced, professional team to deliver results.
