- Contributing to fundraising proposals and scoping new areas of work

**Climate Science and narrative-based communication**:
Climate forecasts are critical instruments for decision-makers developing effective strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation. However, policymakers often lack access to clear, context-specific and evidence-based recommendations. To make climate forecasts indispensable tools for decision-makers, pre-existing, long-run data series need to be complemented with short-term data focused on present or very recent climate events that are relevant to practitioners. It is vital to communicate how climate change impacts health, agriculture, and food production systems in such a way that messages spur action but do not debilitate key stakeholders.

**Successful applicant(s) will primarily work on the following projects**:

- Support coordination, stakeholder engagement and dissemination activities for our new project Augures, which aims to amplify cutting-edge research on climate science, mega-trends and tipping points using narrative-based communication strategies informed by psychological techniques.

**Who we are**
