**The role**:

- Producing a wide range of furniture, both standard and bespoke, using traditional Upholstery skills
- Working off job specifications
- Measuring, cutting and sewing all types of fabric and leather
- Working to high standards and using very small tolerances
- General housekeeping duties
- Following Health and Safety guidance and the instruction of the Site Supervisor
- An understanding of classic, modern and traditional furniture and their respective techniques
- Knowledge of deep buttoning and other traditional techniques
- Close attention to detail
- Experience working to tight deadlines
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team, or use own initiative working alone

**Hours of work**:

- Monday to Friday standard week
- ** Monday to Thursday = 8am to 5pm**:

- ** Friday = 8am to 1pm**:

- 30 minute unpaid lunch break
- 38.5hrs per week

**Rate of pay**:

- £13.33 per hour standard rate
- There is a lucrative performance based bonus scheme (some Upholsters have been known to earn between £15.00 - £17.00 per hour)
