Walsall, United Kingdom Chequerplate Direct Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responding to customer enquiries, and evaluating requirements.
- Answering sales calls and assisting with customer queries.
- Preparing and issuing customer quotations, following up by telephone.
- Processing order confirmation paperwork.
- Assisting with stock control and maintaining shop floor stock areas.
- Assisting with packing / wrapping orders for despatch.
- Measuring and cutting stock sheet material.
- Any other reasonable requests as needed.

**Person Specification**:

- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- IT Literate.
- Previous sales and/or customer service experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Previous use of Sage software would be an advantage.
- Job will involve manual handling to process aluminium sheet metal.

This is a split role between office administration and shop floor order processing / machine operating.

**Salary**: From £20,590.00 per year
