**Purpose of the Role**:This is a varied role providing support to the Marine Assets and New Ventures teams. The key activities will be to support the business across the Marine Minerals, Coastal and Habitats Creation sectors. This will include all aspects of asset/portfolio management, including spatial analysis work, customer and stakeholder engagement, assistance with structure and ad-hoc leasing projects and consenting activity, training, events and publication planning, procurement support, internal communication and knowledge management. The role will provide direct support to the Marine Minerals Asset Manager (to which the role will report), the Coastal Asset Manager and the Senior Development Manager (Habitat Creation).
The role is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, project partner, managing agent and stakeholder performance, thereby contributing to the Marine Strategic Business Unit's strategy in service of The Crown Estate's purpose.
**Main Accountabilities**:

- Provision of ongoing support in the management of the marine regulator portal, to include co-ordinating TCE responses
- Coordination of proximity checking activities across the sectors, and other spatial analysis work as required
- Delivering consents for seabed disposal
- Management of public disclosure requirements under, for example EITI
- Delivery of standard template and bespoke responses to enquiries from local and central government (e.g. mineral planning authority local aggregate assessments)
- Coordination of web site publications and notices
- Contribution to delivery of training, customer facing events, and external facing publications
- Liaison with managing agents (Coastal and Mineral) and support for delivery of transactional activity and associated governance
- Support portfolio development through contribution to system and process development
- Support and contribute to ad hoc and structured licensing programme activity
- Support management of revenue collection / debt recovery
- Assistance in development of revenue expenditure budgets, maintaining oversight of spend, and supporting delivery of forecasts
- Support procurement including the raising of purchase orders and processing of invoices using financial systems
- Maintaining document and knowledge management systems for the storage and ongoing maintenance of records, contracts, correspondence and commercial and legal information. Support portfolio management to ensure all asset documentation is filed in the appropriate document management system with appropriate security levels

**Knowledge Skills and Experience**:

- Basic knowledge of property lease terms, and related asset management needs
- A general legal understanding of commercial issues and experience in engaging with customers and stakeholders is also desirable
- Strong organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise a busy and potentially conflicting work load
- Ability to deliver workload with a minimum level of support
- Strong IT skills including proficiency with Microsoft office suite, communication and document management software
- Personable dynamic team player who works flexibly and collaboratively with effective partnerships both internally and externally
- Knowledge of, or interest in marine related activity is desirable. Not essential
