We are recruiting a PBS Practitioner to join our team in Bristol. This is an exciting new opportunity to really make a difference to the lives of the people we support. If you are interested in enabling people with complex needs to lead a great life and to work alongside staff to make this happen then this is the job for you

You will be working across two locations, (BS10 & BS7) both supporting young adults with learning disabilities, Autism and behaviours that challenge, so experience working in similar locations as well as experience with Positive Behaviour Support and/or experience of leading on strategies to support complex behaviours is essential for this role.

The PBS practitioner is part of the management team and will work closely with the people we support to develop and implement personalised PBS plans that both meet their needs to increase their independence, increase their community involvement, develop a range of skills, have more meaningful occupation and enhance their wellbeing. That includes promoting the use of PROACT-SCIPr-UK®

You will have a qualification or background in PBS and you will use your expertise to support predominantly in the following areas:

- Functional Behaviour Assessment
- Positive Behaviour Support Planning
- Working with the person and their circle of support
- Working alongside staff to develop their confidence and skills
- Staff training & Coaching
- Incident analysis
- Debrief and reflective practice.

You will have a strong presence in locations and working alongside people we support and staff in a flexible way to provide support in the evenings and weekends as required.
You will be a driver with access to a car for work.
