WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW TEAM MEMBER

At Wilson Walks, we are looking to take on a new team member for dog walking and pet sitting We are a small family run business covering Abingdon & surrounding areas, providing group/solo dog walks and pet care tailored to our customers needs

What is the job role?
We are looking for an enthusiastic animal lover, who enjoys the outside, is happy to work alone and has great communication skills to join the team to cover 20 hours per week (approx 5 hours per day Monday-Thursday)

The main jobs include but are not limited to..
- Be able to safely carry out solo and group dog walks, with a variety of different breeds and sizes.
- Small animal sitting (Some dog sitting in the dogs home may be available for the right person).
- Communicating with clients with updates and pictures after walks. Reporting any feedback on how the dogs walk went, as well as any unusual behaviour or health concerns.
- Cleaning up after the dogs and disposing of waste correctly. This includes drying dogs off after walks and returning them home as clean as possible.

What we need from you
- Self Employed (we can help set this up with you if needed)
- a FULL UK driving licence with access to your own car/van
- DBS checked
- Be punctual and a great communicator
- Happy to attend a canine first aid course
- Available Monday-Thursday
- Be physically fit and well, this is a physically demanding job.
- Previous experience preferred but not essential. Must be willing to learn, full training will be given.

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime

Work Location: On the road
