**Summary**:
Head of Web & Conversion is a critical role in delivering our strategy. As the Web owner you will orchestrate our mission to provide the highest converting websites in the travel industry, especially on mobile, offering an easy, inspiring and fulfilling digital experience to our customers. You'll lead the web & CRO team and collaborate with the dev team and the rest of marketing to bring our best merchandising, content, lead generators, rankings, development and site performance in order to maximise conversion.

You'll form effective relationships within marketing, especially in the areas of search, acquisition, lead generation and campaigning.

You'll work into the Exodus Marketing Director and with the Group Digital Product Director to deliver on our strategic conversion goals.

**What you will be doing**:
KPI leadership - with focus on core Session to Sales lead conversion.
- Formulation of the Conversion strategy
- Identify, and lead the team to deliver, regular and priority high-impact web developments, AB tests, merchandising techniques, campaigns & content that drive lead conversion.
- Lead a clear plan of mobile first tests, developments, campaigns & merchandising to drive conversion, providing regular progress updates to the Adventure Managing Director, Marketing Director, as well as the Group Digital Product Director
- Own performance for web conversion & site performance, as well as ensuring site set-up helps maximum search ranking.
- Analyse, measure & report session to lead conversion rate, with clarity on the weekly drivers and detractors, as well as quantifying the conversion rate benefits realised because of CAPEX funded site developments
- Work with the creative team to identify and prioritise the website content to be built, edited, and updated to drive demand, and search team to ensure website is optimised for search engines rankings to attract organic traffic.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in web design, development, and online marketing.

**Team leadership**:

- Lead, direct and develop your direct reports and freelance specialists.
- Maintain collaboration with the group development team, maintaining our one team working patterns.

**What we are looking for**:

- Exceptional analytical skills with in-depth lead conversion tracking experience, and proficiency in session and leads via mobile segments; by marketing channel and territory; within all key tracking platforms.
- Track record of web conversion rate growth, based on delivery of web developments, AB tests, merchandising & landing page optimisations, campaigns & content.
- A desire to work at pace, with strong mental agility; creative thinking & big ideas for problem solving and conversion growth.
- Strong KPI & Team leadership; peer collaboration & stakeholder partnering.
- Appetite for constant personal learning, and desire to foster an innovative, test and learn culture, ensuring we are at the forefront of digital innovation.
