**Overview of the vacancy**:
A fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate has arisen to support and manage the company's purchasing administration activities. Interfaces effectively with internal departments and liaises with external suppliers to ensure 'on time, in full', cost effectivedelivery of materials to support the achievement of the production plan.

** Duties for the position of Graduate Purchasing Administrator**:

- Support all departments with indirect purchasing including supplier identification
- Initiate quotation process for assigned suppliers and commodities to establish costs, batch sizes & lead times
- Investigate queries on deliveries and invoices
- Answer supplier queries from internal departments
- Raise and issue purchase orders, track and confirm purchase order schedules with suppliers and communicate status
- Proactively expedite delivery of non-production and New Project materials from suppliers to support achievement in Project and production plans for customer requirements
- Run various ERP purchasing reports, analyse and action as appropriate, communicating any changes where required
- Complete any adhoc administration duties where required to support the Group Purchasing Manager and Buyer

** Experience required for the position of Purchasing Administrator**:

- Recent Graduate looking to start a career in a Purchasing, Buying or Adminsiative role
- Experience of working with suppliers and purchasing is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Self-motivated and demonstrates drive and a sense of urgency in completing duties, by following through on tasks to completion
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accuracy

**Working hours and Benefits package**:

- Monday to Thursday - 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday - 8:00am - 1:00pm
- 25 days Holiday per year plus BH (shutdown over Christmas so 3 days to be held then)

- Pension - 5% employee, 3% employer - the employer contribution rises annually by 1% to a total employer contribution of 6% (so all in total of 11% done via salary sacrifice)
