Welcome to Richmond Fellowship’s Winston House as a Recovery Worker.

Winston House is a 24 hour residential service and is registered with, and regulated by, the Care Quality Commission. We work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support to adults with complex needs or forensic histories.

Our aim is to support people with their recovery using a holistic, co-produced, person-centred approach to achieve improved levels of wellbeing, safety and independence. This is achieved through 1-2-1 work, group work and other therapeutic approaches. We support people, typically leaving a psychiatric hospital, prison or secure hospital setting, through their recovery journey. The length of stay for people we support is in the region of 18 months to 3 years.

We work closely with external mental health teams and other agencies as part of a multi-disciplinary approach and we have a proven track record of success. We have built a reputation in the local region for delivering an effective, professional service with positive outcomes for people we support.

We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. Whether it’s developing their domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities, one thing’s for sure ‐ you will have every chance to shine.

Richmond Fellowship is part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week.
