Credit Controller required for a temporary to permanent opportunity based in Hockley, Birmingham.
My client is recruiting due to continued growth, seeking a skilled and diligent Credit Controller to join their finance team.
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's credit and collections processes, ensuring timely payments from clients and minimising credit risk. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a proven track record in credit control.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely and efficient collection of payments
Establish and maintain effective communication with clients regarding payment terms, outstanding invoices, and dispute resolution
Generate and analyse credit and collections reports, providing regular updates to management on the status of receivables
Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other relevant departments to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Resolve any invoice and account queries in a timely manner
Skill and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with credit management software is a plus
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
