**Due to growth and expansion Caledonian Logistics are looking for Forklift Operators to join our team.**

**About us**

We are fast-paced, supportive, professional, and our goal is to provide a friendly and prompt service to our customers within the pallet network.

This is a hybrid role which also includes delivering and collecting in a 3.5T van during peak periods of the day.

Successful applicant will also be willing to commute/relocate to Oldmeldrum Depot when required, further details will be provided during Interview stage.

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a counterbalance FLT operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Experience in a fast paced environment
- Valid certification to operate forklifts within the last 2 years
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Load outgoing vehicles reading from printed manifest
- Carry out daily forklift pre-use inspections to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
- Clean driving License
- Manual Handling
- Make multi-drop deliveries using designated vehicle within time windows.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Carry out proof of delivery procedure on electronic device.
- Report vehicle defects, loading/delivery issues, RTA's to transport office.
- Communicate face to face with public and commercial customers.
- Keep track of delivery schedules.

**Salary**: £27,495.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 2 years (required)
- Commercial driving: 2 years (preferred)
