**Position Summary**:
Shifts: 1500-0000

We have an opportunity for an **Operations Supervisor **to join our management team at FedEx Cross Border based in Slough.

As an Operations Supervisor you will lead and motivate a team of handlers.

Your roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Ensuring the effective performance of the shift in line with site targets and KPI's
- Ensure that high levels of internal and external customer care are maintained through clear and precise communication (Written & Verbal)
- Support all performance management cycle
- Ensure that all HASAWA Legislation/Security Procedures are adhered to and that good housekeeping is maintained
- Manage, train and develop your team for continuous improvement or succession through coaching, delegation and feedback
- Adhering and gatekeeping FedEx's policies and procedures

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills:

- Excellent people management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
- Be self-motivated, results and target orientated
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload, with excellent organisational skills
- The ability to work in a busy environment
