**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to the classroom teacher in planning and implementing engaging lessons.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Work with individuals and small groups, providing guidance and reinforcement of concepts taught.
- Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials, ensuring resources are readily available for classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and improvement of educational programs.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting positive behaviour and discipline among students.

**Requirements**:

- A science degree from a recognised university is essential for this position.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is required, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development.
