Caretaker

**Caretaker - Lisburn**

**£11.39 per hour**

**Temporary role until August 2023**

**Shifts**:
Week 1: 8am-11am Monday - Thursday, Friday 8am-10.30am

Week 2: 6pm -10.30pm Monday - Friday

**Job duties**:

- Carry out a range of caretaking duties relating to the Centre and Sea Cadets building
- Set up rooms for usage by Council staff
- Cleaning duties - washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning to all areas including toilets and kitchens, washing windows and emptying litter bins
- Key holder responsibilities
- Monitor all vehicles using the car park at the building and ensuring that the car park is clean
- Follow all health and safety legalisation
- Outside office hours - deal with enquires from the general public in relation to room hire or mini bus bookings
- Any other duties when required

**You will have**:

- Five GCSE's, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- One years experience working in a caretaker position with three of the following cleaning, maintenance work, erecting, dismantling and storing equipment, security or first aid
- Current valid UK driving license & access to transport

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 month

**Salary**: £11.39 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lisburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- cleaning: 1 year (required)
- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
