**TimePlan Education Group is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team in High Wycombe.**

**Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm**

**Job Summary**:
The Teaching Assistant is responsible for assisting the teacher in the implementation of lesson plans and supporting the implementation of daily routines. Duties include assisting the teacher in maintaining classroom cleanliness, maintaining a secure classroom environment, and providing support to the teacher. The Teaching Assistant will assist in other duties as assigned by the teacher and or supervisor.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Assisting the teacher in maintaining classroom cleanliness including keeping surfaces clean, sanitizing surfaces, removing trash, etc.
- Maintaining a classroom environment that is orderly and conducive to learning through following a set of rules set by the teacher and enforcing those rules on students when necessary.
- Supporting students as they navigate school systems and assist them with transferring classes as needed.
- Performing daily routines such as setting up materials for lesson planning, checking in students at the school, organizing materials for lesson planning, etc.
- Assisting with preparing lunch and assisting students with eating.
- Supporting students as they explore their learning environments and make mistakes.
- Assisting with cleaning of school spaces as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED required - Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a school setting preferred but not required.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours - evenings and weekends may be required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test (including marijuana).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Graduate
Contract length: 9 months
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: £70.00-£100.00 per day
