Stock Controller

We are currently looking to recruit a **Stock Controller**who will be responsible for forecasting, co-ordinating and running an efficient inventory level in our busy **Rainham** branch.

**What does the role involve?**
As **Stock Controller,**you will be responsible for building a rapport with existing suppliers to maximise the level of service SIG are able to provide, along with achieving the inventory KPI’s for the branch. There will be a strong emphasis onmaterials and stock planning with a close working relationship with the transport planner/manager, sales teams and branches ensuring the provision of a consistent, high standard of service to internal and external stakeholders. You will use a variety of toolsto assist in the planning and control of the branches inventory whilst also processing and investigating various stock related reports on K8.
- A proven track record of working within a highly pressurised, continually changing environment
- To be proficient in IT including Microsoft Office and a have good working knowledge of Kerridge systems (K8)
- Experience in stock control and inventory management
- Time management skills and ability to prioritise jobs are essential
