Content Writer

.We are seeking a Content Writer to provide engaging and impactful marketing related copy for our websites, social media posts, presentations, pitch documents, reports, whitepapers, blogs, brochuresetc.

You will conduct a thorough analysis of industry-related issues, producing existing ideas for new content and help shape the tone of voice for multiple brands, businesses, products and services - across all platforms and channels. Your work communicates and connects with consumers, assisting the company in achieving specific business, sales and brand goals.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Working closely with the Website Manager and Social Media Executive to ensure the content written is optimised for search engine (SEO / PPC / SEM / CRO).
- Check material for grammatical and factual mistakes, as well as consistency by adhering to all brand editorial and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct research and create long-form articles that meets the needs of the businesses.
- Distribute content across several platforms and devices: web, social media, blogs, presentations, pitch documents, reports, print, mobile, desktop, tabletetc.
- Conduct competitor marketing research and evaluation with an emphasis on content.
- Work across the business to identify appropriate content for each brand / business.
- Produce and execute an editorial calendar.
- Knowledge of online publishing methods.
- Thorough awareness of the most recent marketing trends and approaches, including SEO.
- Strict adherence to each company's style, brand guidelines and regulatory restrictions
- Ability to multitask and take on new tasks.
- Excellent command of the English language, including idioms and contemporary slang and phrases.
- Creativity with a high attention to detail.
- The ability to operate alone with little or no daily supervision.
- Excellent time management abilities, including prioritising, scheduling, and modifying as needed.
- Ability to listen carefully, ask key questions, analyse and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Ability to time management effectively.
- Experience doing research using multiple credible sources.
- Collaborative approach across the entire business to understand each brands tone of voice and identify the most appropriate content to maximise engagement and achieve high conversion.
- Be commercially minded with a customer focused approach at all times.
- An interest in AI and how it can help create content.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in English Literature, Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or a closely related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial writing.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Portfolio of published articles.
- Experience conducting research using multiple credible sources.
- Experience in writing for multiple channels, devices and outputs.
- B2C experience.
- An interest in energy, suitability and the environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
